Inverse forming technology for instrument cluster film: Johnson Controls has developed a new manufacturing process for thermoforming three-dimensional black panel film. Inverse forming reduces distortions known as Newton’s rings, improves instrument cluster image quality and makes the manufacturing process leaner.
