Johnson Controls appoints Catherine Mulvey Vice President and General Manager Original Equipment Group EMEA

HANNOVER/ GERMANY, December 8, 2015 - Johnson Controls, the world’s largest automotive battery manufacturer, has hired Catherine Mulvey, to lead its Original Equipment business for the Power Solutions division in EMEA.The company’s headquarters for the EMEA region is located in Hannover, Germany.

As Vice President and General Manager Original Equipment Group, Mulvey will drive commercial excellence, top line growth and profitability for all Original Equipment markets. In addition, she will lead execution of commercial activities and build strong partnerships with customers in the region.

“I look forward to working with vehicle OEMs on their complex energy storage needs as they strive to meet more stringent environmental regulations on fuel economy and emissions reductions around the world,” said Mulvey.

Mulvey joins Johnson Controls from Eaton Vehicle Group. She brings to the company strong commercial expertise and more than 30 years of insights into the global automotive and truck industries with local assignments in Germany, the United States, Mexico and South East Asia with Robert Bosch GmbH.

Mulvey holds a Bachelor in Marketing and European Languages from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.
